IST Internship 2025/2026

Are you an International Shipping & Trade student at CBS looking to apply your analytical skills in a research role? Join our Research team in Copenhagen and gain hands-on experience in market research, industry trends and financial analysis.

We offer

At MB Shipbrokers, you will become part of a globally recognized shipbroking company with over a century of experience, a strong international presence, and commitment to delivering excellence for our clients. You will join our Research team of currently 12 experienced shipping professionals and talented academics specialised in finance, statistics, and trade.

Despite the busy nature of shipping, we recognize the importance of life outside of work and are committed to promoting balance and fostering a sense of community among our employees. With flexible working hours, weekly workout sessions, weekly access to padel courts, and occasional social events, we provide opportunities for employees to stay active, build camaraderie, and make all ends meet in their everyday lives.

The role

As a CBS student, you will embrace a full-time opportunity at MB Shipbrokers, consisting of a 25-hour internship and a 12-hour paid role. Our Research team offers a dynamic environment where you can apply your analytical skills and industry knowledge to support strategic decision-making in the maritime sector.

As part of the Research team, you will gather and analyse industry data, conduct market research, and support financial modelling to provide insights into the maritime sector. Your work will involve mapping shipping drivers, issuing regular market reports and developing client specific presentations. Additionally, you will assist in developing presentations that translate complex data into clear insights.
