AI & Digital Development Associate

Explore, define, and deliver AI tools for tomorrow’s shipbroking

MB Shipbrokers is embarking on an exciting AI journey, and we are looking for a curious, hands-on colleague to help us shape it. This is a unique opportunity for someone early in their career with a strong interest in AI and digital transformation - someone eager to turn ideas into action in a dynamic and global business setting.

Your mission

Your primary task is to help MB Shipbrokers identify where AI can make a difference, then describe, develop, and implement solutions that support colleagues in their daily work.

To succeed in this role, it is important to develop a strong understanding of how we work as a company - our values, how we collaborate, and what makes our business tick. That means taking time to learn about the departments and markets we operate in and staying curious about the needs and challenges your colleagues face - even the ones they have not yet put into words.

What you’ll do

· Work with our superuser group – a cross-section of 40 team members selected from all areas of our company - to explore and test new tools and use cases

· Support colleagues in understanding and adopting AI tools like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot

· Help document use cases and build internal training materials

· Develop lightweight proofs of concept (PoCs) or AI-enabled workflows

· Stay updated on new developments in generative AI and advise on relevant trends

· Contribute to a culture of experimentation, learning, and responsible AI use

Who you are

We are looking for a curious problem-solver - someone who enjoys thinking creatively, spotting opportunities, and tackling challenges with a hands-on mindset. You do not need to have all the answers from day one, but you should be eager to explore, learn, and help shape how AI is used at MB Shipbrokers.

You will need to stay practical and business-minded - our success will come from building solutions that make sense in the real world of shipbroking. Your ability to connect technology with everyday work across departments will be key to your impact.

You might be a good fit for this role if you have 1–3 years of experience working with AI, data science, or digital innovation - whether through full-time roles, internships, research projects, or advanced studies.

You are excited about how AI can improve the way businesses work, and you enjoy listening to people, understanding their needs, and turning those insights into practical solutions. You communicate clearly, whether you're explaining a concept, writing a how-to guide, or presenting an idea.

What we offer

At MB Shipbrokers, you will become part of a globally recognized shipbroking company with over a century of experience. We value curiosity, initiative, and teamwork - and we support a healthy work-life balance through a combination of flexibility, community, and well-being initiatives.

Our centrally located office near Østerport makes it easy to get to work, and you will find freshly prepared meals in our canteen and access to changing facilities on-site.

We offer flexible working hours and encourage colleagues to stay active with weekly workout sessions, padel court access, and a variety of social events throughout the year. Most importantly, we foster a down-to-earth culture where great ideas can come from anyone, and everyone feels welcome to contribute.
